Using State-Based PID Controller Analytics to Increase Uptime and Throughput

Most control loop performance monitoring (CLPM) solutions generate analytics based on a single, generic state of operation, providing information that lacks resolution. This presentation distinguishes state-based control loop analytics from traditional monitoring capabilities and introduces Overall Controller Effectiveness (OCE) as a proxy for process availability. Case studies are included.
