About the Event

Techniques of Advanced Regulatory Control builds on the foundational capabilities of the PID to explore a range of advanced applications for augmenting control. The workshop reveals the limits of basic PID in the face of noise, nonlinearity, and loop interaction, then shows how to stretch those limits through filtering, gain scheduling, and other advanced configurations.

This course is not vendor specific.

Who Should Attend?

Controls Engineers, Process Controls Engineers, and other staff who are responsible for the design, implementation, and management of a production facility’s process control strategy.

Prerequisite: Participation in Techniques of Applied Process Control or other similar course required.

What's the Objective?

Learn principles and applications of advanced PID control strategies.

How's it Delivered?

Key concepts are followed by demos of real-world examples and hands-on exercises.
