Leverage Your Plants Existing Process Data

Our PlantESP control monitoring solution leverages your existing process data to identify and isolate production performance issues. It connects directly to your facility’s data historian(s), allowing PlantESP to complement any automation environment whether DCS– or PLC-based. Plug-ins exist for all major historians including OSIsoft PI, Aspen IP-21, Canary Labs, and other private-labelled solutions as well as for industry-standard communications protocols.

With access to the right process and controller data PlantESP can baseline your facility’s control loop performance virtually overnight. Micro-Historian

It’s generally understood that faster data provides better resolution for analysis. Even so, many data historians are limited in terms of either the speed of the data collected and/or the compression applied to the data’s storage. PlantESP controller monitoring solution can be deployed with an optional micro-historian to overcome the limitations of process data.

The controller monitoring solution’s graphical design features intuitive, color-coded gauges and trends that make it easy to assess control from a plant-wide basis down to the status of individual PID controllers.

Whether you’re a typical user or an application administrator, the simplicity of PlantESP’s user interface makes the job of plant-wide optimization easier. The application is highly customizable, allowing information to be presented according to your needs.

EASILY CONNECT TO HISTORIAN

Data Connectivity​

Accessing process data from your facility’s data historian shouldn’t be difficult. PlantESP control monitoring software makes connecting easy by using common data communications and querying protocols such as OPC-HDA, OLE-DB, ODBC, and SQL Queries. PlantESP is unique in that it can also connects direct to most historians using their proprietary connectors such as the PI-SDK for OSIsoft’s PI System and the Proficy-API for GE Proficy Historian.

The PlantESP server links directly to your facility’s data historian. It operates as a one-way street, accessing data for the sole purpose of analysis and never pushing data back to or altering data in your historian.
