Rockwell Automation Event to Highlight Value of Enterprise PlantESP Deployments

Manchester, CT – July 27, 2017 – Control Station today announced that it has again been selected to participate in the Process Solutions User Group hosted annually by Rockwell Automation. This year the company will co-present with staff from Cargill on the contribution of control loop analytics to continuous process improvement. In particular the presentation will highlight the value of PlantESP in terms of providing the early detection, verifiable analysis and actionable insights needed to achieve enterprise-wide optimization.

The Process Solutions User Group (PSUG) is an annual conference that highlights industry trends and best-practices along with the latest process automation technologies from Rockwell Automation and its partners. The conference caters to an increasingly global audience of process manufacturers, drawing nearly 800 attendees from around the world.  Control Station remains a regular contributor during the event, having co-presented during previous PSUG conferences with other of the company’s world-class manufacturing customers from the Oil & Gas and Automotive industries. This year’s presentation focuses on Cargill’s application of control loop performance monitoring (CLPM) technology to drive enterprise level improvements in process efficiency.

“PSUG provides an ideal venue for showcasing the value derived from improved awareness of control system performance,” commented Dennis Nash, President of Control Station. “We’re fortunate for the opportunity to collaborate with world-class customers such as Cargill and to demonstrate how monitoring and advanced diagnostics improve profitability at both the plant and enterprise level.”

Control Station is a recognized leader in the rapidly growing market for CLPM solutions. The company’s PlantESP solution is deployed at production sites located around the world and across the process industries.  The technology proactively identifies issues that negatively affect production performance, including mechanical issues and poor PID controller tuning. Beyond traditional process optimization capabilities PlantESP was recently highlighted during a condition based maintenance workshop hosted by Rockwell Automation, OSIsoft, and Anheuser-Busch.  Findings from the workshop documented PlantESP’s role in extending the life of core production assets by an average of 50%.

This year’s PSUG conference will be held November 13-14 followed by Automation Fair on November 15-16 at the George R. Brown Convention Center located in Houston, Texas. Rockwell Automation projects that over 10,000 attendees will attend the two events. In addition to its presentation during PSUG, Control Station will deliver a series of PID controller tuning workshops during both days of Automation Fair and the company’s staff will provide one-on-one product demonstrations from its location in Booth 2013.  2017 marks the eighth year that Control Station and its products have been referenced in the Encompass Partner Program from Rockwell Automation.
