Binghalib Provides Global Delivery and Support Capabilities for Advanced Process Control Offerings
November 12, 2013 Control Station today announced the formalization of a strategic partnership with the Binghalib Group of Companies. Binghalib now represents Control Station’s portfolio of award-winning and best-in-class controller performance and asset reliability solutions on an exclusive basis in the Middle East, and the relationship provides Control Station with access to Binghalibs extensive engineering resources. The partnership positions both companies to capitalize on growing global demand among process manufacturers for intuitive production automation and optimization solutions.
Headquartered in the United Arab Emirates, Binghalib supplies automation products and services to process manufacturers located both in the Middle East and beyond. First established in 1982, Binghalib and its subsidiaries are automation suppliers widely recognized for expert and value-added engineering services. Binghalib is among a select group of Global Solutions Providers designated by Rockwell Automation, and the company has aligned with other leading automation vendors such as Schneider Electric and Siemens.
The technologies introduced by Control Station possess attributes that are in high demand, shared Uzma Qureshi, Binghalib’s Director of Corporate Strategy. For one, they are highly intuitive which appeals to production staff who are increasingly frustrated by complex software. Additionally, the products provide clear, actionable information that simplifies production optimization.
Control Station licenses its portfolio of software products to leading process manufacturers on a global basis. LOOP-PRO is an award-winning process modeling and controller tuning software that is private-labelled by Yokogawa and NovaTech, and it is the only tuning software referenced by Rockwell Automation. PlantESP is Control Station’s platform for monitoring control loop performance and asset reliability. Both product lines are equipped with patent-pending process diagnostics that are ideally suited for the complex dynamics found within the typical process manufacturing environment.
This relationship is meaningful in terms of both expanding our market reach and enhancing our delivery and support capabilities, commented Rick Bontatibus, Control Stations Vice President of Global Sales. By working with Binghalib we establish an essential, local presence in the Middle East. We also strengthen our global capabilities through access to those same expert resources.
Persistent volatility in the global economy has dampened growth in key process markets and reinforced demand for production automation and optimization solutions. While output remains relatively flat on a worldwide basis, producers continue to look to automation for incremental improvements in output and efficiency. In particular, demand has increased for technologies that monitor production performance on a real-time basis and that facilitate continuous process improvement.
