Intended for users of the PlantESP Loop Performance Monitoring solutions and LOOP-PRO Tuner software, this is an interactive workshop that empowers participants to leverage PlantESP and LOOP-PRO in the systemmatic identification, isolation, and correction of common PID controller performance issues.
Participants are first exposed to essential features of the software packages through morning lectures, covering topics from essential Key Performance Indices and Advanced Forensic Utilities to fundamentals of process modeling and PID controller tuning. Participants are then engaged in afternoon mentoring sessions during which they can apply those same software packages in addressing their facility's control loop performance issues.
Onsite Workshop: Twenty-four (24) hours delivered over three (3) eight-hour days.
This application-based workshop is intended for current and prospective licensees of the PlantESP Loop Performance Monitoring solution and the LOOP-PRO software.
Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for participating in this workshop. Current licenses of PlantESP and LOOP-PRO are recommended but not required.
Participants receive access to PDFs of all lecture slides and workshop exercises. Access to PlantESP Loop Performance Monitoring and a simulated plant environment is provided through the ReadyTech virtual training portal. If required, laptop computers pre-formatted with the software can be made available for a fee.
