As a primer, this workshop equips participants to effectively apply LOOP-PRO Tuner in the modeling and tuning of PID control loops. Participants engage in essential administrative tasks associated with the LOOP-PRO software before learning how to apply basic thru advanced features.
A combination of live and historical data files from varying industrial processes (i.e., integrating vs. non-integrating) are used to expose participants to PID tuning best-practices and to prepare them for success in their use of LOOP-PRO. This course is intended for current and prospective licensees of LOOP-PRO Tuner.
Four (4) hours delivered in one (1) 4-hour session
This application-based workshop is intended for current and prospective licensees of LOOP-PRO Tuner.
Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for participating in this workshop. A current license of LOOP-PRO is recommended but not required.
