PID Tuning Techniques & Software-Based Tuning teaches proven best-practices for diagnosing regulatory control loops and tuning PID controllers.
PID Tuning Techniques & Software-Based Tuning teaches proven best-practices for diagnosing regulatory control loops and tuning PID controllers. It is a twenty-hour training and skills development workshop that explains how PID controllers function and how they can be used to optimize production.
The workshop is hands-on and highly interactive, utilizing real-world process simulations to both showcase critical concepts and to engage participants in the application of new knowledge. The workshop concludes with a half-day of mentoring participants in the installation, activation and use of LOOP-PRO Tuner in the modeling and tuning of PID loops from the customer's facility.
Onsite Workshop: Twenty-four (24) hours delivered over three (3) eight-hour days.
This application-based workshop is intended for current and prospective licensees of LOOP-PRO.
Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for participating in this workshop. A current license of LOOP-PRO is recommended but not required.
Participants receive a printed copy of all lecture slides and workshop exercises along with access to a PDF copy of the Practical Process Control textbook. A license of LOOP-PRO Tuner with the Case Studies simulation module is available for use during the workshop. If required, laptop computers pre-formatted with the software can be made available for a fee.
Schedule an onsite workshop or join an upcoming virtual session.
